Thank you for playing Pippet. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version: Pippet does not collect, store, or share any personal data, and nothing leaves your device.

Data we collect

• None. Pippet does not collect any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email, or any other personal details to play.

Health & activity data

With your permission, Pippet reads the following from Apple Health (HealthKit), entirely on your device:

• Step count — turned into food and energy for your virtual pet, and into little treasures it "finds" on your walks.
• Workouts (start and end times only) — so your pet can cheer and "train" with you.
• Activity rings (progress toward your Move, Exercise and Stand goals) — closing a ring treats your pet to a feast.
• Sleep (when you were asleep) — so your pet learns your usual bedtime and sleeps when you do. Only the learned bedtime and wake time are kept.
• Pippet only reads this data — it never writes to Apple Health.
• This data is never transmitted off your device, never stored on any server, and never shared with us or anyone else.
• You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in the Health app or in Settings. Pippet still works without it.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress — such as your pet, its needs, growth, name, personality and favourite treats, the species, treasures and past friends in your codex, a short daily summary (steps, workout minutes, care) used for the "Yesterday" card, and your settings — is saved locally on your device only.

This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and is not accessible to us. If you delete the app, this locally stored data is removed with it.

No tracking, ads, or analytics

Pippet contains:

• No advertising and no ad networks.
